(31450) 1999 CU9

This is a really nice lightcurve of the minor planet (31450) 1999 CU9. With Alessandro Marchini and Riccardo Papini we calculated the rotation period of (31450) 1999 CU9. The period is 3.4116 hours with an amplitude of 0.23 Mv (R).

Becouse of MY fault, we can’t partecipate on the discovery of the binary companion rotating aroud the rock. I “decided” that the residuals of certain points were erroneous. Big fault: there were an eclipse.
The discovery of the binary system is reported in the CBET 4157.
